This website was commissioned at the 12th International Colloquium on Mycenaean Studies in Rome, February 2006, by the Committee on the Application of Information Technology to Mycenaean Studies, as a home page for CIPEM: a place where important announcements can be made, and where scholarly tools and links to Mycenological resources can be collected.
The Comité International Permanent des Études Mycéniennes oversees the organisation of the regular International Colloquia on Mycenaean Studies, and agrees the standards for scholarly tools. It is affiliated to UNESCO.

Conference Announcement - AEGEUM
The University of Liège, the University of California at Los Angeles, and the J. Paul Getty Museum are pleased to announce the 11th International AEGAEUM conference (EPOS - Reconsidering Greek Epic and Bronze Age Archaeology) next month in Los Angeles and to invite you to attend. This event will allow you to visit the newly re-opened Getty Villa and the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA, as well as local attractions. Students are welcome and registration is available at a reduced student fee.
